• Luke was born in Peoria, Arizona, to Douglas Holland who is a professional drummer himself
• Despite Douglas Holland being a professional drummer, Luke gained interest in the drums after hearing his neighbor playing at the age of 10
• From age 10 to 11, Luke started working jobs around his neighborhood so he could save up enough money for his own drum set
• Unlike many different drummers, he joined marching band in Peoria High School for one and half year as a snare player, and Luke is completely self-taught
• At the age of 15, after starting out in a local band, Luke was introduced to self-promotion online
• Luke then made a YouTube account on July 28, 2009, under the name LukeHollandDrums where he started to post self-made drum covers and remixes of songs
• As Luke posted more videos, he started to gain more views on his videos and more subscribers
