- Jason Kelce is an American football center for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL. He was drafted by the Eagles in the 6th round of the 2011 NFL draft, after playing college football at Cincinnati. Kelce is a Super Bowl champion, 6-time Pro-Bowl selection, and 5-time first-team All-Pro selection. He is the older brother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.

Kelce was born in Greenville, NC, raised in Cleveland Heights, OH, and is the older brother of Travis Kelce. He attended Cleveland Heights High School, where he played football and was a saxophonist in the Symphonic and Jazz Bands. He was twice named All-Lake Erie-Lake League in high school. Kelce's parents are Ed Kelce (a sales rep in the steel business) and Donna (who works in banking).
College life

Jason Kelce started as a walk-on running back at Cincinnati but switched to offensive line and played center and guard. He was part of a successful offensive line as a sophomore in 2008 and earned All-Big East honors in 2009. He was moved to center in his senior season and started all games, ending his career with 26 starts at left guard and 12 starts at center. He received honorable mention All-America and second-team All-Big East recognition.

Kelce was projected to be picked in the fourth to fifth round of the 2011 NFL draft. He ran the fastest 40-yard dash time among offensive linemen at the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine with a time of 4.89 seconds. He had an appendectomy in March 2011 after being diagnosed with appendicitis.
