Who is Crypsis? / Facts
- The roots - Born in Poland, Crypsis' family decided to move to Denekamp, Netherlands when he was 6. He developed an interest in DJs, being fascinated by the way they looked on stage so starting dreaming about reaching that moment too. He started saving up and bought his first DJ set. And a lot of records. However soon he turned to producing, and make his own tracks.
- Crucifier - With his first steps taken into the hardcore area, Crypsis' first alias was Crucifier. He was also briefly known as Crackor.
- DJ Luna - In 2009 he was discovered by the legendary DJ Luna, who was so impressed with his style that they decided to make a collaboration. This turned into Choices, and had a huge impact on Crypsis' further steps.
- International reach - With a constant presence at aemblematic events such as Qlimax, Hard Bass, Defqon 1, Decibel, he sure took his share in shaping the genre. His 2 albums to date Statement of Intent (2009) and Cryptology(2012) are considered one of the most influential of the genre.
- Minus is More - Signed with Minus is More, an independent label that brings together people that like to stand out and express themselves in their unique style. Whatever they want released they can do it. However they have to earn their membership and gain the label's trust. Both of his albums were released here and the 3rd one follows under the same umbrella.
- Minus Militia - One of the pillars of the supergroup Minus Militia alongside Chain Reaction and Radical Redemption. Set up like a military theme, the Minus Milita is all about the "we-feeling" against the world, standing up and defining yourself as an individual.
