She grew up with her mother, stepfather, two siblings, two half-siblings, and her dog, Jack.
Chrissy had been overweight since her childhood and her mother even took her to Weight Watchers meeting to help her deal with weight loss.
While growing up, Chrissy was a physically active kid, but had a problem with her binge eating, which would see her polish off a tray of brownies with a friend.
While in high school, she was in a chamber choir, which she selected over musical theater.
  • First jobs - Chrissy has stated that her first job was at McDonald's in Gainesville, Florida, so she could afford to purchase a $120 pair of sneakers that her mother wouldn't agree to pay for. She fondly recalls how her manager treated both her and her fellow employees with respect and dignity, and how she learned early on the benefits of hard work and the advantages one can gain from being nice to other people.
While studying in community college, Chrissy was working as a pre-school teacher.
After moving to Hollywood, she started working as an assistant for a talent manager from Florida to help her make ends meet and pay bills.

 Quotes

I am a firm believer that what you do and what you spend your time doing is a message to the universe. And the universe doesn’t know good or bad; it just knows what you are focusing on.

Everyone has a purpose. There is nobody here on earth who doesn’t have a path or a purpose. An innate destiny. Every human being who comes, comes called.

Our true happiness is inside of us. Like me, everything you need to fly—to soar—has been inside you all along. Just as you are, you’re enough.

There is something that happens when you are grateful. You continue to receive blessings.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

Because confidence is really trust in yourself, right? It has nothing to do with what someone else thinks of you; it’s what you think of you.

We can’t know what other people have gone through, or what’s really behind that Instagram post.

We can't write lines for people just because we want to hear them.

Because carrying hate is a heavy load, but offering forgiveness is freeing.

We're made from love, with love, to love.

Feelings are not facts.
