Why are Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris fighting?

This Is What You Came For

This song really sounds like Taylor Swift. I knew it from the radio, I admit Rihanna’s voice is unmistakeable, but this time I really did not know it was her singing.

How the fight between Taylor Swift and ex boyfriend Calvin Harris started?

  • this news appeared on July 13th in the news: Taylor Swift wrote Calvin Harris’ hit song ‘This is What You Came For’ leading their relationship in a downward spiral (http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music/taylor-swift-reportedly-wrote-calvin-harris-hit-song-article-1.2709459)
  • it appears that Taylor wrote the song and recorded it on the phone; she sent it to Calvin after that
  • Calvin Harris released the song with Rihanna on April 29
  • on June 1st Taylor and Harris split
  • Calvin Harris wrote and produced a song for Rita Ora (ex girlfriend) – “I Will Never Let You Down” and didn’t allow her to play it after their break up

From Calvin’s twitter:

And she sings on a little bit of it too </span><div class=

Calvin Harris said at first o Twitter that Taylor Swift was an “amazing lyric writer”:

“And she sings on a little bit of it too Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual”

Then “I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym”

“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.”

I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do” (makes reference to Tom Hiddleston)

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”

In the end Calvin says: “Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one.”
