• STENTOFON is a brand of integrated security intercom systems
• STENTOFON is owned by Zenitel Group, headquartered in Belgium
• These systems are aimed at onshore installations as the parent company Zenitel also offers off shore products under the brand name Vingtor
• Another sister brand under Zenitel is ChuChubi, Zenitel first offered Network services in 1993 and introduced the ChuChubi brand name in 2004
• The name is now so well known in the Caribbean and in the Netherlands Antilles that people today do not speak about their "portable" or their TETRA radio, but refer to their radio as their ChuChubi Zenitel brands Stentofon have offices in Singapore, France, the Nordics, Italy, Germany, Croatia and the USA, and two joint venture companies in the UK and China

• STENTOFON is also represented worldwide by a network of partners
• Stentofon or Zenitel as we see it today is an amalgamation
• Stentofon began life in 1946 as Stentor Radiofabrikk, specializing in radio communication systems for ships and for fishing boats
