Who is Mark Hoppus? / Facts
- Known as the bassist and co-lead vocalist for the pop punk band Blink-182
- How he started - He became interested in skateboarding and also in punk rock in junior high. He got a bass guitar from his father at the age of 15
- Blink-182 - His sister introduced him to Tom DeLonge, and together with drummer Scott Raynor, they formed the band Blink-182
- Dedicated - Long Following Raynor and DeLonge's departures from the band in 1998 and 2015, respectively, Hoppus is now the only remaining founding member of Blink-182
- Blink-182 produced several rock recordings and toured exhaustively before signing to major label MCA to co-distribute their sophomore effort, 1997's Dude Ranch, which featured the Hoppus-penned hit "Dammit"
