Quotes
Once again we have had a violent mob of migrants attempt to enter United States illegally by attacking Border Patrol agents with projectiles, as has happened before -- in this and previous administrations -- our personnel used the minimum force necessary to defend themselves, defend our border, and restore order.
While we do not have official numbers to report at this time, current trends indicate enforcement efforts against single adults entering illegally have been hugely successful, however, the removal of actual family units, or those posing as family units, has been made virtually impossible by congressional inaction -- which will most likely result in record numbers of families arriving illegally in the United States this year.
Walls have proven to be extremely effective at deterring illegal entries and the smuggling of illicit drugs into the United States.
